ADVANTAGES OF WEB SITE RINGS
Visitors coming from the webrings are not just random hits, but hits from people actively seeking information about a topic that your site provides.
DISADVANTAGES OF WEB SITE RINGS
Web site rings really aren’t a great promotion tool, because they don’t bring you that much traffic (maybe 3 -5 extra hits per day).
Web site rings are a place to exchange links. A link to other web site could be a link to your competition. Some people ask: Why link to your competition? and others answer: Yes, it’s competition but they’re linking to you too! What do you think?
MY OPINION
If you are very short of traffic, 3 – 5 hits a day it’s better than nothing, then look for web site ring places and join the one that suits you best
If you use a linking robot like Zeus, you’ll be the one who’s going to say to whom you want to link and to whom not, and if you train the robot properly, you will receive not 3-5 hits a day but hundreds or thousands a day!
